  • A recent study into the effect of handwriting on learning: 
  • Cursive handwriting is multi-sensory, it activates many parts of the brain which results in creating quality memories.
  • Did you ever write a shopping list out with pen and paper and then forget to bring it to the shop? Well, you have a better chance of remembering the items on that list than if you typed it into your phone or just tried to memorise it.
  • Even though we are moving towards using digital technology in education a lot more, handwriting is a hugely important skill that needs to be continued.
